ALL CLASSES ARE OPEN TO NON MEMBERS
ENTRIES WILL BE JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NAFAS
COMPETITION MANUAL THIRD EDITION 2015 (EXCEPT CLASS 10)
THE JUDGE’S DECISION IS FINAL
1 All exhibits to be Natural Plant Material.
2 The Committee reserves the right to cancel any class in which there are insufficient numbers and to amend the staging accordingly.
3 Classes 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be staged against a white fabric backing and Class 1 against a pale green wall.
4 Class 2 all flowers and components to be supplied and then retained by exhibitor. Exhibitors may only use their own knife or scissors.
Cost £20. To be paid with entry form. 5pm start.
5 All Classes except 6 are on tabling 76cm from the floor covered in blue fabric. All sizes are approximate.
6 Class 10 in not open to previous NAFAS 1st prize winners. .
7 All exhibits must be assembled on the premises without any assistance except Classes 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 which may be assembled at home. including any plant manipulation. Items requiring special time or expertise for their preparation may be brought constructed ready for incorporation in the exhibit, but they should not predominate.
8 No spray paint is to be used on the premises and the floor must be protected.
9 Exhibitor’s property is displayed at their own risk. No liability for loss or damage can be accepted by the Society, owners or occupiers of the premises.
10 Staging FRIDAY 1st JUNE 2018 from 3.00pm until 8.00pm. N.B. THE GLADES CAR PARK CLOSES AT 6.45PM.
11 Judging takes place on Saturday morning 2nd June at 9.30am.
12 Exhibits must be removed from the premises at 5pm.
13 All rubbish must be removed from the premises by the exhibitor.
